Boleto Turístico del Cusco: Which Ticket You Need
The Cusco tourist ticket in 2026: S/130 for all 16 sites over 10 days, or S/70 for Circuit III (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Moray). Where to buy it and what it skips.
For a Sacred Valley day you need the Boleto Turístico del Cusco, and the cheapest version that covers it is the partial Circuit III ticket: S/70 for a foreign adult, valid two days, covering Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Moray. If you will also visit Sacsayhuamán, the Qorikancha museum or Tipón around Cusco, buy the integral ticket instead: S/130 for all 16 sites, valid ten days (COSITUC tariff, read 26 October 2026). None of these sites sells a single-site ticket, and the Maras salt mines and Machu Picchu are not on it at all.

Every ticket and price
| Ticket | Covers | Valid | Foreign adult | Peruvian |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Integral | All 16 sites, Circuits I, II and III | 10 days | S/130 | S/70 |
| Integral, student | All 16 sites | 10 days | S/70 | S/40 |
| Partial Circuit I | Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay | 5 days (foreign), 1 day (national) as published | S/70 | S/40 |
| Partial Circuit II | Qorikancha site museum, Tipón, Pikillaqta, four Cusco museums and the Pachacútec monument | 2 days (foreign), 1 day (national) | S/70 | S/40 |
| Partial Circuit III | Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Moray | 2 days (foreign), 1 day (national) | S/70 | S/40 |
From COSITUC’s published tariff and circuit pages (cosituccusco.pe), read 26 October 2026. The student rate needs a valid student card or an ISIC card for ages 18 to 25; ages 10 to 17 show an identity document.
COSITUC prints a five-day validity for the foreign Circuit I partial, against two days for the other two circuits. It looks odd, so if it matters to your plans, ask at the counter when you buy.
Which one should you buy?
- Only the Sacred Valley: the partial Circuit III, S/70. It covers every site of the classic valley day.
- The valley plus Sacsayhuamán and the ruins above Cusco: two partials (Circuits I and III) cost S/140, more than the S/130 integral. Buy the integral.
- Several days around Cusco: the integral, S/130, valid ten days from the day you buy it.
- A student under 26 with an ISIC card: the student integral, S/70, covers everything for the price of one partial.
The tourist ticket is the one fixed cost of the valley day that you cannot shop around for, so the decision is simple: Circuit III if the valley is all you will see, the integral otherwise. The tour then covers the transport, the guide and the order of the stops.

Where to buy it
In person only, and in cash. COSITUC does not sell the ticket online. You can buy it at its central office on Avenida El Sol 103 (Galerías Turísticas) in Cusco, open daily 07:30 to 18:00, or at the entrance of most of the sites it covers, including the four valley sites. On a Sacred Valley tour the guide usually sells it at the first stop, Chinchero. The validity starts on the day you buy it, so do not buy a two-day partial the day before your tour.
What it does not cover
- The Maras salt mines: a separate S/20 at the gate, charged by MaraSal, the company of the local communities. See the salt-mine fee guide.
- Machu Picchu: a separate ticket sold by Peru’s Ministry of Culture for a timed slot and circuit. The Ollantaytambo page covers the train and the ticket.
- Churches and the cathedral in Cusco, and the Qorikancha temple itself: these charge their own entry. The Circuit II ticket covers the Qorikancha site museum, not the church and convent above it.
A new law, the same Cusco ticket
On 8 May 2026 Peru published a new national tourist-ticket law, Ley 32586, which lets other regions set up their own combined tickets; Peru’s official gazette reports that it recognises Cusco’s existing ticket as a special regime run by COSITUC. Its regulation was still in public consultation in October 2026. Nothing about the Cusco prices or circuits had changed when we read the tariff on 26 October 2026, but this is the kind of change to check before a 2027 trip.
How these facts were checked
Prices, circuits, validity, the student rule, the in-person sale, the office address and the rule against single-site tickets are from COSITUC’s tariff, circuit and FAQ pages (cosituccusco.pe), read 26 October 2026. The new law is Ley 32586, published in El Peruano on 8 May 2026, with COSITUC’s announcement of 1 August 2026. The salt-mine fee is the price charged at the gate in 2026.

The Valley Day the Circuit III Ticket Covers
All four Circuit III sites, Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo and Pisac, plus the Maras salt mines and a buffet lunch in Urubamba, in one guided day from Cusco. The guide sells the ticket at the first stop.
